Dear FutureMe

I came across this very cool site today. Here's a way to send yourself an email and set the date it will be sent. I wrote myself a nice long email and set the date to be sent on my birthday five years from now. How cool is that? I summarized what's going on now and I think it will be kind of fun to read in five years. Kind of like a time capsule in an email. Or, like finding an old diary that you wrote in years ago and reading it again. You should send your future you and email too! Check it out.

Kia

When Katarina was a baby and couldn't quite say her name yet it always came out as "Kia", as in "Kia do it!". It was very cute and the name stuck over the years and she is still Kia to us and to her sisters. But, alas, our little Kia is now our big Kia and turns 9 years old on March 4th! Here's a picture of Kia when she was a year old...

And here's Kia now...

Sweet girl...you are now and always will be our little pumpkin.
